Pathnames

Pathnames enable you to find out the absolute pathname of your home-directory.

pwd (print working directory)

The full path name should look like /home/users/axa1160 which means that axa1160 is the home directory which in turn is located in the users sub-directory, which is in the home sub-directory, which is in the top-level root directory called " / " .
